I don't know if anyone actually reads these entry's, but I can hope, I have such great news, aside from the fact that I have almost made it a whole month with out face book. which is awesome. I have even better news to share. I have for the first time in my life actually been completely blindsided with a wonderful surprise. My wife bought me an iPad Air!!! Its my very first one, and the most expensive thing anyone has ever given me. I really never expected to own one, how could I ever spend that much money on me?, but my wife in her vast and never ending love for me purchased me one, to use for my art and to use for writing and fun stuff to.

Well peeps, its been almost a week since I left faebook, it was hard at first to let go of the routine of constantly checking for updates, or just thumbing through the news feed, but I really don't miss it that much. Life goes on. I find that now when my attention roams and I want to kill a few minutes, I (shocked breath) actually take some time for self reflection, or gather my thoughts, or hell just hum a little tune, my brain isnt just sitting idle anymore, I find inspiration in the little things again. which brings me to a query, ya know those black and white line art posters that you color? the ones that come with like  a pack of 4 or 8

I finally did it!! After watching facebook de-evolve over the past few years into nothing but a greedy info stealing machine, I have finally deactivated my account. I may open one up just for my art, but never again a personal page. I see the value in social networking, but I fail to see the point in why facebook needs to milk my account dry for any info they can use to make money. Other than just for the sake of making money at the expense of others.  I know that a fb page by its nature is not completely private, duh, but I don't want to see a stream of ads, or suggested sites or people I may know, and I want to be able to control my privacy
